The temples of Agrigento and the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina have been included in the UNESCO heritage. The two cities are among the oldest and most fascinating in Sicily.
Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation at your most preferred time and drive you to Villa Romana del Casale (entrance fee € 10,00 per person). This stunning Roman complex is the main reason most people visit Piazza Armerina and it is an Unesco World Heritage Site due to its containing the most complex and large collection of Roman mosaics in the world. You will have free time to visit this precious jewel left by the roman civilization in Sicily.
Afterwards, we will drive you to the Valley of the temples in Agrigento (entrance fee € 10,00 per person). Here you will have your free time to let yourself be moved by this extraordinary cultural heritage of classical age, and possibly visit the regional archeological museum.
It is possible to replace the visit to Piazza Armerina with Caltagirone, the city of Sicilian ceramic.
