The film by Francis Ford Coppola, made famous all over the world, contains many scenes filmed in Savoca and Forza d’Agrò, two lovely villages very close to Taormina, where it is still possible to recognize the places of don Vito Corleone.

You will walk along the typical medieval streets and you will reach the Church of Santa Lucia, where the wedding scene between Michal and Apollonia was filmed. From here you can also easily reach another church (San Michele) and a museum. On your way back, unmissable stop at Bar Vitelli, here time seems to have stopped years ago. Inside you can admire not only pictures and scene related to the saga of Don Vito Corleone, but also ancient objects related to Sicilian tradition, making this bar a small museum. Sit and taste their wonderful lemon Granita. Enjoy the panorama from Piazza Fossia just in front the bar before continuing our trip to Forza d’Agrò, another small village known as a “Godfather” place, which still preserves all its medieval charm. After your free time in Forza d’Agrò, our driver will drive you back to the port at agreed time.
